| MS 150 Day 1 |
Day 2 was a different story....I slept in a little (6:00 am) since I didn't have to register or anything and I knew my bike and everything was in order for the start. I woke up to find that it had rained all night and the forecast called for passing showers all morning into the early afternoon. Thankfully, the hotel had breakfast set up when I arrive downstairs (I left too early the day before) so at least I was able to get some food before leaving for a long, wet day of riding. When I got the the event I learned that the 100 and 30 mile options were canceled and only the 50 and 75 (which was actually 80) miles were available (if you were going to ride the 30, you could ride the 50 and they would drive you back to the start from the 30 mile rest stop). So, I met up with the guy I had ridden with the day before and headed out for our 80 mile journey.

| MS 150 Day 2 |
The weather was poor with off and on light rain, but thankfully it mostly cleared away by noon. The riding, however, was great! After my massage on Saturday I felt fantastic, legs were loose and strong, and I had a ton of energy. Despite feeling really good we initially, decided we would take it a little "easy" and only average between 17 and 18 mph, but we had a few nice large groups to ride in and spent several miles averaging 20+! Despite the strong wind, wet roads, and light rain we ended up finishing the ride in 4 hours and 27 minutes (just under 19 mph) (my finishing photo was taken from about 1 mile from the finish).

Even with the weather issues it was a fantastic 2 days of riding. I had the opportunity to ride with some great people and was able to raise $600 for MS! Thanks again to all of you who donated to the cause!
I am really looking forward to this coming weekend and my next ride!
If you are interested there's still time to donate I have another ride this weekend!
