Why am I getting nervous, you might ask? Because in just 2 short weeks I will be heading to New Bern, NC for the MS 150 (where I am going to ride 100 miles on Saturday and 100 miles on Sunday) and one week after that I will be riding over 200 miles for the Easter Seals/UPC Ride Without Limits.
This will be my 3rd year participating in the Ride Without Limits, a fantastic ride (see prior blog posts) that begins in Wake Forest (not far from my home) and heads North and West. This year the ride will be extended a few miles north and actually cross over into Virginia! for a total of 112 miles per day.
This will be my first year participating in the MS 150. I have had friends ride this event in the past and have heard nothing but great things about the event. This route will be significantly different from the Easter Seals ride (it is nearly entirely flat and windy).
These are two great organizations that benefit children and adults in North Carolina and throughout the United States. I thoroughly enjoy (as grueling as it is) donating my time and some money to support both causes. I hope you will consider it too.
If you are interested in donating to one or both of these events please visit my fundraising pages:
